SLOW LLM is a browser extension that makes LLMs appear to run very slowly. It works with ChatGPT and Claude.
Are you concerned that you or your loved ones might be:
- participating in a massive de-skilling event?
- experiencing LLM-induced psychosis?
- outsourcing cognitive and emotional functions to autocomplete?
Install SLOW LLM on your computer, or the computer of a loved one, today!
Enterprise Edition (DNS)
You can install SLOW LLM, network-wide, at your business, university, or household through our free DNS service.
Simply set the DNS server on your router to:
37.27.40.92
The DNS service works with all apps, and slows down Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Google Gemini.
You can also set the DNS server on your desktop, laptop, or phone, rather than your entire router. If you use the DNS server you don't need the browser extension.
FAQ
Does the extension work with Google Gemini, or the extra fascist one called "Grok"?
Not yet...
Does the extension work in Firefox or Safari?
Not yet...
How does the extension work?
By patching the browser's "fetch" function.
How does the DNS service work?
When a user makes a request to domains that host LLM services the
request is proxied to a server that throttles the connection. All
other DNS requests are passed on to 8.8.8.8.
The bad news: It's generally not a good idea to proxy your traffic
through some random person's server, so you can also
run the service yourself.
